About

Pocket Verdict started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept arguing about which mobile game deserved space on a phone with limited storage. Instead of trusting store ratings, we decided to write down what we noticed after real sessions — the controls, the pacing, the moment a game either clicks or gets deleted.

Every game in our catalog is installed and played by someone on the team, usually for several days. We don't skim trailers and call it a review. If a strategy title takes ten hours to open up, we give it those ten hours before deciding whether the wait was worth it.

We pick games across every genre, not just the ones that are trending. Puzzles, RPGs, racers, simulations — variety keeps our taste honest and stops us from grading everything against the same yardstick.

The site is small on purpose. It lets us keep the writing personal and the opinions unfiltered, even when they're unpopular.
